he Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Machias are co-hosting the annual Machias Community Christmas Santa and Parade on December 7th.
Bring your children to visit Santa at the Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce (2 Kilton Lane, Machias) from 10 AM – 2 PM. This is a great photo opportunity. There will be gifts for the children thanks to the generous donations made in Bill Kitchen’s memory by local friends Carole Porcher, Carol Christiansen, the Worcester family, and his family including his mother Elayne, sister Bonnie, and dear cousins. Santa is also grateful for the generous gift assistance from Cooke Aquaculture, Machias Savings Bank, Maine Woods Outfitters, and Crows Nest Shops!
The Machias Community Christmas Parade will be starting at 6 PM. The last few years have been a great turnout and this year will be even bigger! Everyone is invited to enter the parade. Light up your ride with Christmas lights and join the fun! Lineup begins at MMHS (Machias Memorial High School) at 5 p.m. For more information, please email the Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce info@machiaschamber.org or give us a phone call 207-255-4402.
