Living History HERITAGE Long Weekend November 1, 2, & 3 … 9 AM to 4 PM

November 1 @ 9:00 am - November 3 @ 4:00 pm

Audio on Demand
So, you like history …

Or perhaps you love and are proud of your tribal Nation’s many millenia of amazing history known by far too few. Or you love cooking over a campfire and sleeping under the stars or under a tent. Or love dressing up as some one else every October 31. Or love bush and survival skills. Or hunting with bow and arrows. Or love getting foods fresh from the soil or the water. Or you love or are fascinated by the history of the five great Wabanaki Confederacy Nations, or maybe the Vikings in this region, or the Basque, or French and Acadians, or Dutch, or English, or Germans, or Spanish, or others… afloat and ashore. Or you love canoeing, or rowing, or sailing schooners. Or music, singing, and dancing. Maybe you love skins or fabric and sewing. Or making soap or making candles. Maybe you love teaching children and adults. Maybe you’ve always thought you’d love to be on stage and be an actor. Maybe you or your kids or grandkids love swords, muskets, and cannons you see used in movies and wish you could use these too !

If you answered yes to any of these … there’s something for you to enjoy in living history, plus SO much more. Please come visit us.

Whether 7 or 77 and you are even a little bit interested in considering getting involved in what we call “The Hobby” … HUZZAH !  Please let any of us know and we will go out of our way to help you with a smile !
Living History HERITAGE is based on the ocean shore in Harrington, Washington County, Maine. We have visitors who have been here from all over Maine plus from New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and other states farther afield. We have past participant living historian presenters who live in Georgia, Florida, Texas, and soon in Missouri. All these hope to return whenever they can.

We started just a couple of years ago and are just really getting going. With YOU, everything will only go better !
