The Maritimes are keeping an eye on the track of hurricane Lee, which the Canadian Hurricane Centre says could take it anywhere from Maine to southeastern Nova Scotia by this weekend.
The Centre says Lee will likely approach the Atlantic region as a weak hurricane or strong tropical storm that could dump heavy rain over the area.
Lee is expected to make a turn to the north tomorrow, which will slow its progress and could weaken the storm as it lingers over cooler northern waters.(2)
Although the track, intensity, and impacts (if any) from Lee remain
uncertain at this time for our region, officials ask that you monitor the situation
