This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Interior DownEast Maine and Penobscot Valley Maine.
A system this weekend will bring intially a brief period of wintry
mix before changing to all rain. The combination of moderate
rainfall and melting snow may cause sharp rises on small rivers and
streams. Major rivers are expected to stay below flood stage. In
addition, rivers with ice will likely see areas break up and move
downstream.
