EASTPORT, Maine (WQDY) – An early morning fire has destroyed a home in Eastport.
Assistant Fire Chief Tom Critchley told WQDY NEWS the call came in around
4 am for a fully-involved structure fire.
“On arrival, fire had jumped through the roof. The structure was unoccupied. It
did have power, Critchley said.
Eastport firefighters had mutual aid from Perry as well as Downeast EMS.
Pleasant Point police also assisted at the scene on Boynton Street.
The cause of the fire isn’t known.;
