This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine,
Coastal DownEast Maine, Far Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine,
Interior DownEast Maine, North Woods Maine and Penobscot Valley
Maine.

Accumulating snow is possible over mostly northern Maine and higher
terrain areas later Wednesday into Wednesday night while colder air
moves in and rain changes to snow. Snow accumulations later Wednesday
through Wednesday night are still uncertain, though significant
accumulations are not expected. Preliminary snow total estimates are
generally 1 to 3 inches, with greater totals possible at higher
elevations. Also, wet roads could freeze Wednesday night with
falling temperatures.
