Orthopedic Services Update: Dr. John Gluscic, our esteemed orthopedic surgeon, has decided to consolidate his practice solely at Calais Community Hospital, effective April 1, 2024. With this consolidation, Dr. Gluscic will focus entirely on providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients at Calais Community Hospital. We are confident that this decision will streamline our orthopedic services and ensure continued high-quality care for our community.
Pediatric Services Enhancement: We are pleased to announce that Dr. Joann Kaplan, a dedicated pediatrician at Down East Community Hospital, will also be joining our team at Calais Community Hospital Family Practice. Starting April 1, 2024, Dr. Kaplan will be available to see young patients one day per week, specifically on Mondays. This expansion of pediatric services reflects our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community, ensuring that children receive the specialized care they deserve.
