A reminder for our OXYGEN DEPENDENT community members: with the potential power outage from the Hurricane this weekend, please be sure you are prepared.
If you are unsure of your equipment’s ability to function until power is restored, contact your oxygen provider to inquire on steps to take.
If you have family, friends or neighbors that are oxygen dependent, please reach out and check to make sure they are prepared for the power outage.
In the event of an extended power outage, the hospital will have an area for community members to charge their oxygen equipment if needed – but please try to prepare as much as possible ahead of time so there isn’t a need to be out in the weather.
